Anemia

Anemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells, or the cells are less able to carry oxygen throughout the body.

Complementary foods

Complementary foods are foods or drinks other than breast milk or infant formula (for example, infant cereals, fruits, vegetables, water).

Exclusive breastfeeding

Exclusive breastfeeding is feeding your baby only breast milk, not any other foods or liquids (including infant formula or water). The exceptions are medications or vitamin and mineral supplements.

Fortify

Fortify is adding vitamins and minerals to a food or drink.
