Does Sodium Knowledge Affect Dietary Choices and Health Behaviors? Results From a Survey of Los Angeles County Residents

Reproductions of Nutrition Facts labels from soups and sauces presented to participants for evaluation. Two labels give nutrition information on 2 types of soups, and 3 labels give nutrition information for 3 types of sauces. In the first set of 2 soup labels, 1 label shows lower calorie content but much higher sodium content. In the second set of 3 sauce labels, serving sizes are different.
