Adjusted prevalence ratios (APRs) were adjusted for demographic variables and disease-specific risk factors, ie, current smoking, physical activity, alcohol use, obesity, and diabetes for coronary heart disease, and stroke; current smoking, physical activity, alcohol use, and obesity for diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, cancer, current asthma, arthritis, and depression; and current smoking, physical inactivity, and alcohol use for obesity.
